Climate normals
What are climate normals?
Climate normals are 30-year averages of meteorological parameters. The WMO recommends using 1991-2020 as the new standard period (CLINO). The values give a picture of the typical climate of a place — not what happens this year, but what is expected over time. Source: the Norwegian Meteorological Institute.
