About water temperature
Water temperature at bathing spots
The water temperature is measured at selected coastal and lake bathing spots. The stations report daily, mainly during the bathing season (May–September). A pleasant bathing temperature is usually considered 18 °C or warmer; warm water is 22 °C+. Note that local variations can be large — a shallow bay can be several degrees warmer than open water.
